Meet Jasmine Alfonso of Big Blue Fairfax

Tell us a little bit about yourself!

My name is Jasmine Alfonso and I'm a swim associate at the Fairfax location.

How long have you been a member of the Big Blue Swim School team?

I've been a swim instructor at Big Blue for four months.

What is your background?

I’m currently a college student majoring in criminology.

What does your job entail?

Primarily teaching kiddos how to swim and interacting with new and current Big Blue families to ensure they understand what's going on in lessons or answering any questions they might have!

What is your favorite part about working at Big Blue?

Definitely watching kids reach their milestones.

Do you have a favorite moment that you’ve been a part of during your time at Big Blue?

My favorite moment so far would have to be Halloween - kids came dressed in different costumes every day and it was so much fun.

What is your favorite level to teach?

My favorite level would defiantly have to be Bold 3.

What kind of things do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work I enjoy playing a variety of different sports and going on nature walks!

How would your team describe you?

As a hard working team member.
