Welcome to Big Blue Swim School, where we provide your child with the best swimming classes in and around Shrewsbury and Worcester.

Our expertly trained swim instructors use Big Blue’s proven curriculum to help your swimmer find joy and confidence in water safety. During each visit to our clean, state-of-the-art facility, your child’s swimming lessons will take place in small class sizes, which progress logically with their comfort and skill level. Our swim school teaches children from three months to 12 years of age skills they can use for life. We can even teach and train young athletes for swim team competitions.

This is all done with a highly flexible scheduling format to help busy families fit toddler swim lessons and swim classes for older kids into their calendars.

Big Blue Swim School in Shrewsbury is in the largest shopping plaza on this stretch of Route 9, just east of Lake Quinsigamond. Our swim lessons are conveniently located for families from Shrewsbury to Worcester, including surrounding areas like Auburn, Northborough, Westborough, Southborough, Boylston, Charlton, Milbury, and Marlborough.

Unless otherwise directed by a medical professional, it is always a smart idea to consider enrolling your child in swimming lessons. Whether they have little experience or none, Big Blue can help them on their journey!

For the safety of all students, all students are initially placed based on their age-appropriate level. Students are evaluated at each lesson by our trained staff to determine their skill levels using Big Blue’s curriculum. It is not uncommon for swimmers to move up levels quickly if they have previous swim experience.
