what parents say
  • My son did not like the water. At all. But after the first class, all he could talk about was swimming and how much he loved to do it. Rostyslav and crew are miracle workers, kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Very fortunate to have found this place.

  • Coach Megan is amazing! Her warm smile, endless patience, and fun approach make every lesson a joy. I only wish swim classes had been this enjoyable when I was a kid!
    Sharokina P
  • This review is waaaay overdue! These guys are excellent! They deserve 5 stars and more! We've been with Big Blue for probably close to a year and it's been wonderful. I'd recommend everyone to come and try. My 4 year old literally swims better than me, that pretty much tells you all
    Nina S
  • We love Big Blue Wilmette! The facilities are great; the instructors are professional and friendly. Manager Rostyslav (Ross) was super helpful whenever we needed to reschedule a class or move our kid to the next swim level.

FAQs

Unless otherwise directed by a medical professional, it is always a smart idea to consider enrolling your child in swimming lessons. Whether they have little experience or none, Big Blue can help them on their journey!

For the safety of all students, all students are initially placed based on their age-appropriate level. Students are evaluated at each lesson by our trained staff to determine their skill levels using Big Blue’s curriculum. It is not uncommon for swimmers to move up levels quickly if they have previous swim experience.

Yes, these can be tracked within the Big Blue app or parent portal.
